Computer history in Poland

Polish computerization

Strange days, strange country – Poland, the end of the ’80s. Computers, perceived partly as products of magic and partly as “21st century miracles”, slowly appearing everywhere. The first takes on putting them in normal use and hit-and-miss commentary from newspapers. All in all, a fascinating lecture and return to the past for everyone, for whom computers are just everyday’s invisible background. “We're computerizing” column and interviews from “The game for tomorrow” series (from popular magazines Komputer and Bajtek).
